3:31 pm - Best Endorsement Ever

In the middle of my interview with Angus Andrew, he gave an unsolicited plug for "The Fuzzy Robot," which I had brought him as a pre-interview gift.

You can see the entire interview here.

11:01 am - Fuzzy Robot Price Drop
No one bought The Fuzzy Robot yesterday.

If you went to look at it, and thought that $8.00 was too much for a coloring book, you're in luck. I've dropped the price from $8.00 to $6.50. I've always priced my stuff so that I make at least a dollar on books from Amazon.com. I've now abandoned that for The Fuzzy Robot, because I really want people to buy it and read it.

The price still says $8.00 on Amazon.com, but it's already listed at $6.50 on CreateSpace. Amazon.com should be updated soon.

10:27 am - The Fuzzy Robot

My new book "The Fuzzy Robot" is now available.

It's a story about a robot who doesn't fit in with the other robots, and how that's okay. It's a color-it-yourself book, and appropriate for children and adults.

You can buy it at Amazon.com by clicking here.

It's also available directly from the publisher, CreateSpace. I get more money if you buy it from them. You can do so by clicking here.

Thanks to everyone for their continued support!

12:02 am - My Crispin Hellion Glover Interview
As many of you know, I've been interviewing nationally known artists for my job as a Groupee Backstage Live producer.

Today, I got the chance to talk to Crispin Hellion Glover about his films that are currently being shown at the Broadway Performance Hall in association with Northwest Film Forum.

You can see the interview here:

If you are at all interested in the films, you may want to check them out when he's here. He has no plans in them being shown in any other manner.

9:41 pm - My Books Are Now on Amazon.com
So, the books I've currently published are now available at Amazon.com:

These Are Your Coded Instructions

Ninjas!

STUPID

Giraffes and Elephants Are Friends

I make about half as much when people buy the books from Amazon, but I'm theoretically reaching people who otherwise wouldn't purchase them.

I'll let you know how it goes.

7:41 am - STUPID, the Book
I've finally put together a collection of the "STUPID" comics that I would run whenever Super Rocket Monkey or G&E were unavailable.

You can purchase it here.

As it is black-and-white, it is significantly less expensive than G&E.

2:17 pm - My Shonen Knife Interview
I don't know if Betty will remember this as the day Daddy took her to see Shonen Knife, or the day Daddy hit her with a door.

Actually, she probably won't remember it all, right?

Right.

A while ago, I described running into a disturbing crowd of people that turned out to be fans of Larry the Cable Guy:

Now I see he is probably cursed to live in a hell of his own making:

Ever since I saw the video for "God is God" by Juno Reactor on late night MTV, I have been searching for more images like the ones in the film footage they used.

I later learned that the footage is from Sayat Nova, which I recently got the chance to see.

I am in awe of Sergei Parajanov.

9:21 pm - We Started Living in an Old House
So, we dealt with the rats. That pretty much broke us.

Still, wepaid for a fence, because people were parking in our backyard.

Now, the people who were parking in our back yard are parking in the front. Sometimes, they hang out in front of the house. I feel like I have to constantly watch and check up on our environment's more chaotic inhabitants, lest the chaos spins out of control. I'm afraid of groups of five to ten people hanging out in front of my house at all hours. I'm afraid of what would happen if the two pitbulls that ripped up my neighbor's dog had shown up two years later, like when Betty is playing in the yard. We never thought this area was completely safe. No area is completely safe.

Anyway, it's not like moving is an option. We bought this house because it was all we couldn't really afford. It just happens to be an object lesson about what I already knew. I can't always keep Betty safe. I can't always keep myself safe. My wife and I just have to do the best we can.

And I wasn't lying. This place is great.

When my wife came home, she put things in perspective. She doesn't like folks hanging out in front of the house either, but it sure ain't the end of the world.
